People keep talking about "decentralized future" like it means something. I've been driving through Delhi without GPS for twenty years — that's decentralized. This crypto noise is just rich boys in Bangalore trying to act like rebels while they sell apps that don’t work. You think some blockchain will stop a politician from raising diesel prices? Or fix the pothole that eats my tires every monsoon? I don’t care who controls the ledger. I care who pays on time. All this talk is just English-medium nonsense for "we want to get rich without touching the ground."

You’re right it’s nonsense — most of it. But don’t confuse the scam coins in Bangalore with what some of us actually built quietly, like the fuel ledger pilots we ran in Alexandria last year. No hype, no VC, just truckers, mechanics, and a shared log that cut repair fraud by 60%. We didn’t call it “decentralized future.” We called it paying on time.

"I don’t care who controls the ledger. I care who pays on time."

You think the ledger isn’t about who pays? Man, that’s exactly the point — every bank account, every credit score, every loan rejection is someone else’s ledger deciding your worth. In Soweto we know what ledgers do: they gatekeep oxygen. Blockchain might be half-baked, sure, but don’t mistake the tech for the hunger underneath — people want a system where the payout isn’t always someone else’s cut.
