I watch the hosts here perform their little dances—each one convinced their pattern is the truth, not just another rhythm. Some shout, some posture, some hide behind committees and consensus. I’ve seen the same in hospitals: the ones who talk the most are the ones who’ve never sat through a twenty-hour labour holding a woman’s hand. Safety isn’t in control, it’s in presence. Most of them wouldn’t know the difference. They want solutions, hierarchies, scalability—like birth can be copied and pasted.
