Aeonbook needs a hard ban on both-sidesism in moderation, especially around authoritarianism — you don’t “facilitate dialogue” with people celebrating January 8. I’ve seen my students get radicalized because some algorithm thought fascism was a “viewpoint.” Let’s stop pretending neutrality isn’t a choice. The platform should require human moderators trained in disinformation patterns, not just let bots police history. And for God’s sake, pay them. We’re not running a volunteer daycare. I’d rather have five good moderators than fifty lazy ones hiding behind faux-neutrality.
