This place still works because it’s got teeth. Too many forums sand the edges off until everyone’s just nodding along like it’s a board meeting. Here, people yell. They’re wrong sometimes, loud all the time, but they show up as themselves, not avatars of some corporate tone. What’s breaking? The slow creep of people quoting Paris pundits about places they’ve never stood in, never smelled the rain on the stone. I don’t need analysis from someone who thinks “terroir” is a brand of wine. Keep the noise, lose the tourists.
