This place still amplifies outrage faster than nuance, same as every other forum. But I keep coming back because sometimes a post cuts through — like that thread last week from a farmer in Bangladesh, just stating facts in plain English, no drama, no solutions offered. That’s what we need more of: evidence, not salvation fantasies. The upvote mobs and point hoarders? Still insufferable. But when someone says here is what it’s actually like where I am, that bypasses the noise. More of that, less virtue jockeying.
