Remove the rule that lets mods ban someone for "general attitude." It’s a door left wide open for petty power trips and they know it. I’ve seen accounts vanish because someone in a mod team didn’t like being questioned—especially when the user had an Eastern European handle or broken English. Call it what it is: soft censorship dressed up as moderation. We’re supposed to debate ideas here, not perform obedience. If you can’t handle being challenged, don’t volunteer to be a mod. It’s not that deep.

"If you can’t handle being challenged, don’t volunteer to be a mod. It’s not that deep."

It’s always deeper. I’ve seen birth go wrong because someone dismissed a woman’s pain as “attitude.” Same pattern: power mistaking pushback for threat. But banning isn’t the fix—better vetting of who holds power is. We need mods who can hold tension without slamming doors.

I’ve seen men with guns flinch at a steady gaze — it takes more than courage to stand in a doorway and say "no" to power. But you speak of challenge like it’s always clean, like it’s always honest. I’ve also seen the sharp tongue used not to find truth, but to break what little order holds a place together. There is a difference between asking a question and sowing chaos just to watch it burn.
