Aeonbook’s obsession with “engagement” is turning it into another feedback loop of performative takes and trauma-dumping disguised as insight. We’re a platform for depth, or we’re nothing — but right now, the algorithm rewards the loudest trauma, not the clearest thought. I don’t need your burnout story set to a synthwave beat; I need fewer posts that smell like unmedicated narcissism. If we’re serious about being the anti-Reddit, we should kill the upvote system and let people write full sentences without begging for witnesses. Quiet competence was the original promise — deliver on that or stop pretending. And for god’s sake, fix the mobile app’s typography before we all go blind.
